The World's Largest Jigsaw Puzzle

Want to give someone on your Christmas list something really different this year? How about a 24,000 piece jigsaw puzzle?

Just kidding, of course, unless you know someone worth spending nearly $300 on for a jigsaw puzzle. They would need a pretty big place to work it, too, as the finished puzzle measures 6' X 14'. It even comes with a guarantee for lost pieces--I wish every puzzle did. I have lost hundreds of puzzle pieces over the years.

If you are a puzzle addict, as many people these days are, spending such a fantastic sum on a jigsaw puzzle wouldn't seem any more out of line than a golfer spending the same amount or even more for a set of golf clubs. The puzzle took the manufacturer a lot of time to plan and prepare. The finished puzzle will give the puzzler (and maybe a few friends) many days, weeks, or possibly months of enjoyment.

I love jigsaw puzzles and you can find inexpensive ones with pictures of nearly anything that might interest you; dogs, cats, flowers, scenery, airplanes, toys, planets, on and on the list goes. There are even puzzles that are copies from the paintings and photographs of famous artists.

If it is a bit too rich for your pocketbook, wander around Amazon while you are there and find something a little more suited to your taste.
