I never saw a Precious Moments figurine I didn't love. Just when I think they couldn't possibly come up with a cuter one than the last one I saw or bought, they do.
Several years ago, my youngest daughter gave me a Precious Moments nativity set containing Mary and Joseph, the baby, Jesus, and several animals. I was so excited that I rushed straight to town and bought a fancy stable, complete with hay and a manger, and hurried back home to put my beautiful figurines inside.
At the time, I didn't realize that the set wasn't complete. Each year after that, my daughter added another figurine to the group. Now I have shephards, wise men, a few more animals, and even an angel in my collection.
I've seen pictures of Precious Moments figurines, and, several months ago, even a jigsaw puzzle using images of some of the Precious Moments figurines. The figurines are delicate and unique, and as soon as you see one in a store, you immediately recognize it as belonging to the Precious Moments line.

To me, starting a Precious Moments collection is kind of like eating a certain brand of potato chips---you won't be satisfied with just one. I promise myself that I will only buy one of them, when I know I am going into a store where they are sold. Then I justify buying a second one by telling myself I will use one of them for a gift. I just don't admit that I may be the person who eventually ends up with that gift. :)
