If you're like me, you probably get in a rut about wearing the same pair of shoes over and over again. I'll admit, that even with all the cute shoes available nowdays for women who need extra wide widths, I tend to shy away from buying a new pair until the ones I am wearing practically fall to pieces. Probably a feeling left over from the days when it was much more difficult to find a decent looking pair of wide shoes---anywhere.
Anyway, I came across a cute style called Stretch Slip-Ons the other day. They are made by Valley Lane and look dressy enough to wear to church, but also comfortable enough for every day.
They have one and 1/4 inch heels, but don't look even that high, and the cost is really affordable---only $24.99.
So many places only offer medium and wide sizes for women with larger feet, but Valley Lane, offeres extra wide, too, and the shoes have a built in side stretch on the strap. Whee! No more pinched feet or wishing you could just get home so you could kick off your shoes and be comfortable again.
Each shoe has two narrow straps that meet on the outside side of each shoe which. This designer touch gives them a definite feminine look.
Best of all, they come in black, taupe, or navy. I love navy and haven't seen any shoes I really liked in that color for quite a while so I'm going to grab these while I can. Click on the picture to take a look. Maybe you'll want a pair, too.
