Teal Blue Granny?

I recently read a friend's blog in which she talked about purchasing a purple wig.

Purple? That would really turn heads in my neighborhood, but if I were going to do something so drastic, the color of my wig would have to be blue. But then I would have to decide what shade of blue. I remember seeing references to blue-haired grannies, but that was kind of a whitish blue I think.

No, if I am going to go blue, I want people to know it is really blue. But should I be Navy blue Granny, Sky blue Granny, Teal blue Granny, or should I just dump the whole idea of blue and join the world hysteria over "going green?"

I could ask my husband which he prefers, but I don't want to give him a heart attack, which would just end up making my "purple friend" feel guilty for putting the idea in my head in the first place. Decisions, decisions. What a way to start the day.
