Is Your Teenager Out Of Control?

Talk to any group of your friends today and the chances are that one or more of them have a teenager who is giving them problems. In fact, the chances are that you probably have at least one teen in your immediate or extended family that fits into the "problem" category. I know that we do.

Some of the problems are not really serious---just the usual griping about chores, or bickering with siblings, but, more and more, people seem to be confronted with deeper problems such as teens who seem totally devoid of feelings toward or obligations to the family. They are moody, dramatic, depressed, and hateful, showing little or no respect for authority, refusing to follow household rules, and pretty much doing what they please. Eventually, when this seems to work for them, many turn into tyrants, punishing their parents with accusations of, "You favor the other kids; I have to do everything around here; you don't respect my feelings; I'm the only girl/guy in school that has to do ..........."

Arguments accelerate into screaming matches followed by the teen slamming out of the house and staying away for hours, or even all night while the parents sit at home wondering what they did wrong and whether or not their child is safe? They are often so relieved when the child comes home still in one piece that all is forgiven, but nothing changes. Sound familiar? We've been there--done that.

There are hundreds of books on the internet and in your local library that claim to offer solutions, but your teenager may have teenagers of his own before you finally stumble upon one that really does have effective solutions. What most parents want and need are some real solutions---now!

Yesterday I read a review of an ebook that guarantees success in turning the out-of-control teen around, beginning within a week or your money back with no questions asked. Wow. I will admit that I am skeptical, but the money-back offer ought to make it worth a try.

The book, which offers 150 proven techniques for dealing with strong-willed, out-of-control teenagers, is written by Mark Hutten, M. A. who works with troubled teens through the Madison, WI Superior Court.

Mr. Hutten’s book delves into even more serious problems than those mentioned above; kids with attitudes; resentful kids; kids having unprotected sex; those experimenting with drugs or alcohol; and those hanging out with the wrong crowd.

Best of all, those who order the book also receive online support; an e-mail address and a toll-free phone number where you can get real answers to your current problems. The cost of all this is less than a $20 bill. If there is any chance at all that the destructive direction a teen you know has chosen can be changed before it is too late wouldn't it be worth that kind of investment?
