It all started when I thought to do a domain name search in my area just to see what was available. I happened to come across a great one that made a lot of sense for me to buy if I ever wanted to start a blog, which I definitely needed to do at some point in conjunction with my business website. As a book dealer, there’s not a lot of web traffic headed straight to my transactional site, so my marketing plan was to start a blog about the industry and hopefully gain some traction that way.

I made the decision to purchase the domain name and within weeks was up and blogging. Turns ! out my plan was a good one and I’ve got hundreds of regular readers! Business on my site has more than doubled and I definitely owe most of the success to my blogging. It’s been fun on top of everything, and I’ve made some great contacts across the country. I’m so glad I took this next step and it’s going to mean good things for my business!
