Have You Tried Shopping Online at Zappos?

By now, you are probably tired of hearing about my wide feet and the trials and tribulations they caused me as a child when the only shoes wide enough for my feet were ugly, clunky and had shoelaces that came untied twenty times a day..

But remember, I did direct you to the online cure I stumbled across for that problem--- Zappos, where I found not only comfortable shoes in my size, but also cute and stylish ones. Their wide shoe sizes ran from C to E and up. Yes, I said up, so there probably isn’t a person on the face of the earth that couldn’t find a decent pair of shoes in their size there, and for a very reasonable price, too. They also had wide boots and other rainy weather gear. (If you visit there, be sure and check out their Burberry check rain boots and their ankle rain shoes. Those are my favorites.)

It was only recently that I noticed that Zappos not only sold wide shoes online, but plus size women’s clothing, too. And you won’t find a bunch of dull-colored, sack like garments there. Their plus-size clothing, like their women’s wide shoes are colorful, cute, and stylish.

Of course, they also have clothing, including underwear, casual outfits, athletic garments, and even super-dressy outfits for smaller and medium sized women, too, as well as a nice stock of children’s clothing, shoes, and boots

The biggest surprise I got from my most recent visit to the Zappos website was that they now sell housewares. (Maybe they always did, but I hadn’t noticed it before.) Looking for a pepper mill, a toaster oven, some cutlery, or a set of gorgeous towels? How about some new sheets for your guestroom? You’ll find it all at Zappos. In fact, you’ll be so astounded at their wide selection that you’ll be pulling out your Christmas list to figure out who gets what.

Whether you are buying footwear clothing or houseware, Just imagine sitting down at your computer tomorrow, Christmas list in hand, and having all of your shopping done in just a few minutes online. It could happen, and as you watch your friends scurry through the crowds for the next three weeks, trying to match gifts to the people on their lists, you can smile and go back to relaxing with a magazine and that second cup of coffee.

Tired Of Wearing Stiff Scratchy Boxers?—Try Some Diesel Underwear, Instead

If you have trouble finding underwear that doesn’t ride up and down when you exercise, or feel scratchy to the touch, and look like something designed in the middle of the last century, it’s time to take a look at Diesel underwear.

I had always associated this Italian based company with jeans so I was a bit surprised to find that their apparel list also included men’s jackets, sweaters, t-shirts, and a wide variety of shorts including boxers, briefs, high rise, and low rise, printed, striped, or plain. And Diesel even sells shoes now.

Diesel has been around since 1978, and hasn’t neglected us women in their apparel line. Women have even more to choose from than the men do. I took a quick look at several internet companies like Zappos that handle Diesel products and found women’s underwear, blouses, skirts, dresses, sweaters, swimsuits, and shoes that ranged from lowly flip-flops and ankle boots to the elegantly designed Diesel Rock Chick Cuddle Pumps. What a selection.

Diesel apparel has become so popular that there are entire sites on eBay selling just their products, as well as many other online merchants. A number of these merchants offer free shipping for Diesel underwear and apparel. Zappos is one of those offering free shipping.

My husband likes boxers, but often complains of scratchiness. Maybe I’ll talk him into giving Diesel underwear a try. I did read a bunch of reviews about men’s Diesel’s boxers and briefs that described the product as unbelievably soft and comfortable. My husband’s birthday is coming up soon. I wonder how he would like to be surprised with two or three pair of bright colored, silky feeling boxer shorts from Zappos

They are just a little more expensive than the K-Mart boxers he usually wears, but there’s a lot to be said for comfort and style. And, who knows, maybe, if he likes them, I’ll find some of those Rock Chick Cuddle Pumps under the tree come Christmas.
