Early in 2009, one of my daughters asked me how long I thought the economic downturn would last. I told her to hang tight---that things would probably be back to normal in a few months. Was I ever wrong.
Here we are, more than 5 years later, and, for most people, things have not improved at all. In fact, a huge segment of our population is actually worse off than ever before, and some are wondering just where their next meal is going to come from.
Several years ago, I wrote a little e-book called, Create Your Own Job! It wasn't really meant to show someone how to immediately make a full-time living, or end up becoming wealthy overnight. In fact, it was more a collection of things friends, members of my family, and I had done during tight times to bring in enough extra income to "get by" until things got better. In a few instances, the jobs created have developed into more than "get by" income, and have actually become careers.
Recently, I have been hearing more and more about people who have been down-sized from good paying full-time jobs to part-time jobs and who are in dire need of a few extra dollars a month to scrape by. I still have hopes that the economy will improve, but, in the meantime, I am making the Kindle edition of, Create Your Own Job! available from Amazon.com for only $1 a copy. If you or someone you know might benefit by making a few extra dollars from home each month, why not pick up a copy for yourself or one to share?
The book contains 15 chapters, each describing a job you can do from your own home to earn a little extra money for your family each month. Most of them require very little or no expense to get started.
In addition there are 3 bonus chapters at the end listing ways to save money. For example, we all know what a drain on the pocketbook a wedding can be in the best of times, but during a recession, that same wedding could cause financial ruin. Find lots of suggestions on how to put on a wonderful wedding for very little money in one of the bonus chapters of, Create Your Own Job!
Only $1 at: Amazon.com until further notice. Click any highlighted link to order.
